Clinical study on Ventica® on young children with recurrent wheeze was accepted for publication in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology (PAI). The researchers found that the Ventica EVI® test result was lowered after withdrawal of asthma controller medication and the reduction was associated with obstructive symptoms.
The study shows that Ventica is suitable for routine lung function testing of children aged 1-5 years and the EVI parameter provides the clinicians with objective, valuable information to support clinical decision-making in young children with recurrent wheeze and asthma.
